7):Define antaranga #akti, tatastha #akti, and bahiranga #akti. antaranga #akti = notranja energija = duhovna energija tatastha #akti = mejna energija = pogojene du#e = mi bahiranga #akti = zunanja energija = materialna energija 8):Give the Sanskrit and English explanation of the three types of miseries of adhidaivika-klesa (sufferings caused by the demigods, such as droughts, earthquakes and storms) adhibhautika-klesa (sufferings caused by other living entities like insects or enemies) adhyatmika-klesa (sufferings caused by one's own body and mind, such as mental and physical infirmities). 9):Explain the two fold meaning of niyamagraha. niyamägraha has a twofold meaning that is understood according to the particular combination of words. Those interested in K##ëa consciousness should not be eager to accept rules and regulations for economic advancement, yet they should very faithfully accept scriptural rules and regulations for the advancement of K##ëa consciousness. They should strictly follow the regulative principles by avoiding illicit sex, meat-eating, gambling and intoxication. 10):"Endeavor executed with intelligence in Krsna Consciousness is called utsaha." 11):For what purpose does Srila Prabhupada say that he established ISKCON? we have established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness to give people an opportunity to associate with those who have not forgotten K##ëa. This spiritual association offered by our ISKCON movement is increasing day by day. Many people from different parts of the world are joining this Society to awaken their dormant Krsna consciousness. therefore people must be given the chance to associate with the devotees of ISKCON because simply by reciprocating in the six ways mentioned above an ordinary man can fully revive his dormant Krsna consciousness because it is the only movement that teaches one how to develop love of God. 12):How does Rupa Goswami instruct us to associate with the three types of devotees? The kanistha-adhikari is a neophyte who has received the hari-nama initiation from the spiritual master and is trying to chant the holy name of Krsna. One should respect such a person within his mind as a kanistha-vaisnava. A madhyama-adhikari has received spiritual initiation from the spiritual master and has been fully engaged by him in the transcendental loving service of the Lord. The madhyama-adhikari should be considered to be situated midway in devotional service. The uttama-adhikari, or highest devotee, is one who is very advanced in devotional service. An uttama-adhikari is not interested in blaspheming others, his heart is completely clean, and he has attained the realized state of unalloyed Krsna consciousness. According to Srila Rupa Gosvami, the association and service of such a maha-bhagavata, or perfect Vaisnava, are most desirable. One should mentally honor the devotee who chants the holy name of Lord K##ëa, one should offer humble obeisances to the devotee who has undergone spiritual initiation [dék#ä] and is engaged in worshiping the Deity, and one should associate with and faithfully serve that Pure devotee who is advanced in undeviated devotional service and whose heart is completely devoid of the propensity to criticize others. (RMd&Sdd) One should mentally honor the devotee who chants the holy name of Lord Krsna (kanista-adhikari), one should offer humble obeisances to the devotee who has undergone spiritual initiation (diksa) and is engaged in worshiping the Deity (madhyama-adhikari), and one should associate with and faithfully serve that pure devotee who is advanced in undeviated devotional service and whose heart is completely devoid of the propensity to criticize others (uttama-adhikari). 13):Explain the example of the pollution in the Ganges. Indeed, one should overlook a devotee's having a body born in a low family, a body with a bad complexion, a deformed body, or a diseased or infirm body. According to ordinary vision, such imperfections may seem prominent in the body of a pure devotee, but despite such seeming defects, the body of a pure devotee cannot be polluted. It is exactly like the waters of the Ganges, which sometimes during the rainy season are full of bubbles, foam and mud. The Ganges waters do not become polluted. Those who are advanced in spiritual understanding will bathe in the Ganges without considering the condition of the water. (RMd&Sdd) The example of the pollution in the Ganges is given to show, that a pure devotee is transcendental, although having a body born in a low family, a body with a bad complexion, a deformed body, or a diseased or infirm body. The body of a pure devotee cannot be polluted. 14):What is the symptom of our diseased condition? When a man in the material world takes more interest in the materialistic way of life than in K##ëa consciousness, he is considered to be in a diseased condition. (RMd&Sdd) The symptom is, that we don' t have a taste for spiritual things. It is compared to having jaundice. Jaundice here represents ignorance. When one is sick with jaundice, he tastes sweet things as bitter. The cure is to take sugar and gradually the sweet taste will return. Similarly, for a conditioned sould spriritual practice seems bitter and the cure is to keep doing it and in this way one can gradualy taste the sweetnes of Krishna Consciousness. (Ceprav je vecina tega odgovora odgovor na 15. vprasanje, sva vseeno razlago primerjave z zlatenico napisala tu) 15):Explain the example of taking sugar candy to cure jaundice. The holy name, character, pastimes and activities of K##ëa are all transcendentally sweet like sugar candy. Although the tongue of one afflicted by the jaundice of avidyä [ignorance] cannot taste anything sweet, it is wonderful that simply by carefully chanting these sweet names every day, a natural relish awakens within his tongue, and his disease is gradually destroyed at the root. 16):Summarize Rupa Goswami's "essence of all advice". The essence of all advice is that one should utilize one's full time-twenty-four hours a day-in nicely chanting and remembering the Lord's divine name, transcendental form, qualities and eternal pastimes, thereby gradually engaging one's tongue and mind. In this way one should reside in Vraja [Goloka Vrindävana dhama] and serve Krsna under the guidance of devotees. One should follow in the footsteps of the Lord's beloved devotees, who are deeply attached to His devotional service. 17):Why is Mathura superior to Vaikuntha? The holy place known as Mathurä is spiritually superior to Vaikuëöha, the transcendental world, because the Lord appeared there. 18):Why is Vrndavana superior to Mathura? because of Krsna's rasa-lila pastimes. 19):Why is Govardhana Superior to the forest of Vrndavana? it was raised by the divine hand of Sri Krsna 20):Why is Sri Radha Kunda supreme? it is overflooded with the ambrosial nectarean prema of the Lord of Gokula, Sri Krsna. 21):What reason does Rupa Goswami give for the gopi's being exalted above all the advanced devotees? because they are always totally dependent upon Sri Krsna, the transcendental cowherd boy. (RMd&Sdd) The Gopis are always totally dependent upon Sri Krishna, the transcendental cowherd boy, therefore they are exalted above all the advanced devotees 22):Define vipralambha-seva. vipralambha-seva = thinking of Krsna in separation, as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu did (RMd&Sdd) Vipralambha-seva is devotional service in separation. It is said by the acaryas, that thinking of Krishna in separation is far better than serving Him directly. 23):Describe the hierarchy of the spiritual world (total 5 places). Give to each place the reason why that place is considered superior to the other. Vaikuntha-matura-vrindavan-govardan-radhkund - razlaga je v vpra#anjih 17-20 zgoraj. (RMd&Sdd) First of the 5 places is Vaikuntha. Second is Mathura and it is spiritualy superior to Vakuntha, because the Lord appeared there. Third is the transcendental forest of Vrindavan. It is superior to Mathura, because lord Krishna's rasa-lila pastimes there. Fourth is Govardhana Hill. It is superior to the forest of Vrindavana, because it was raised by the divine hand of Sri Krishna and was the site of His various loving pastimes. Fifth is Sri Radha-kunda. It is the topmost of the five places, because it is overflooded with love of Krishna.
